Gripped: Climbing the Killer Pillar

This is a movie about a group of people trying to stay alive on the side of a thousand-foot cliff in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. When Rose, a gym climber from Los Angeles, goes on her first outdoor climb, it's called Gripped. It tells her story. In the middle of bouldering with her friend Jade, Rose meets Bret, who is very good at being outside. She persuades him to take her on a dangerous rock-climbing route called "Killer Pillar," even though he doesn't want to. When Bret falls, he gets a bad head injury and a torn shoulder. As there is no way down, Rose has to lead the climb up to the top. When night falls, they still have a long way to go, so they have to sleep on a cliffside ledge. The next day, as a storm is coming, Bret can't stay awake. Rose has to save them both.
