An Adventure in Space and Time
This special one-off drama travels back in time for you and energy to 1963 to observe how Doctor Who had been first brought to the screen. Actor William Hartnell felt trapped by a succession of roles. Wannabe producer Verity Lambert was frustrated by it industry's glass ceiling. Both of these were to come across unlikely sudden and hope challenges in the shape of a Saturday tea time drama. Allied using a group of odd but brilliant individuals, they went on to create the longest running science fiction show ever made.
