Another Day in Paradise
A vending machine robbery by small time thief and drug addict Bobbie (Vincent Kartheiser) goes badly awry, along with his pals contact streetwise thief and part time druggie Mel (James Woods) to spot him up.Recognizing a kindred soul, Mel befriends Bobbie along with his girlfriend Rosie (Natasha Gregson Wagner), encouraging them to join him along with his long suffering girl friend Sid (Melanie Griffith) to a medication robbery that ought to set them up for life. The apparently simple prosecution is a wonderful success, but the sale of all those drugs then fails poorly, and Mel and Bobbie have been shot.The four carry refuge together with the Reverend, who charges them 50% their haul from the prosecution to look after them. At a desperate effort to recover their losses, Mel calls for the crew in a devastating, ill-advised jewellery prosecution, and so they get caught up in a web of violence which immediately spirals out of control.
