Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness
The adopted son of the legendary explorer King Peter is young Chickenhare. To avoid the ridicule of his peers, he disguises himself as a hare because he is part chicken and part hare. Due to his disguise, Chickenhare fails badly at the Royal Adventurer Society trials. But he is determined to seize a second opportunity and find the Scepter of the Hamster of Darkness before his evil uncle Lapin. The Scepter confers enormous power upon its wielder. If he obtains it, Lapin will be unstoppable. With his loyal servant Abe, a sardonic turtle, and Meg, a skunk proficient in martial arts, he embarks on an epic and initiatory journey.
