During a motorcycle accident in 1999, Aaron Baker broke his neck and was thrown to the ground, paralyzing him from the neck down. Despite the doctor's dire prognosis, Aaron chose not to listen to those who said 'he had a million-to-one chance of ever feeding himself again' and instead worked painstakingly to regain as much mobility as possible over the next 16 years. This adventure into the unknown brought him from the depths of depression to the delights of cross-country road tripping via tandem bicycle with his mother and friends, and ultimately culminated in the establishment of a socially conscious low-cost gym devoted to promoting mobility for the disabled. Now, in Coming To My Senses, we follow Aaron on one final trek that symbolizes his recovery: crossing a 20-mile stretch of Death Valley on foot, unaided. But will he?
