Heavenquest: A Pilgrim's Progress
Inspired by John Bunyan's original works and an imagined prelude to the 1678 novel The Pilgrim's Progress. When Vangel, a royal man, is unexpectedly and strangely detained, he is forced to embark on a voyage against his choice. Vangel begins to have weird dreams and visions of a mystery woman in white calling to him from the undiscovered area of the North after escaping the dark king's warriors. Vangel starts on an expedition that takes him over treacherous mountain ranges, endless deserts, the Lake of Doubts, and the Forest of No Return, armed with a book called "The Record of the Ancients," which he obtains from a wise sage named Elder. Travel companions tell stories about a fabled good king and his son in the North, if he can survive the journey.
