A new boy brings on the inspiration of legendary characters to obtain the strength to fight with an evil land baron from the old west who would like to steal his family's farm and destroy their idyllic community. If Daniel Hackett finds his dad Jonas his first impulse is really for his family to flee danger, and give up their life. Going alone to a pond to try to choose what to do, '' he falls asleep to a boat and wakes to find himself at the wild west, in the company of such"tall tale" legends like Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan, John Henry and Calamity Jane. Together, they fight exactly the same villains Daniel is confronting into his"real" world, ending with a epic confrontation where the boy stands around Stiles and his henchmen, and rallies his neighbors to fight against land grabbers who want to ruin their city.
