The Great Man's Lady
In Hoyt City, a statue of founder Ethan Hoyt is unveiled, and 100-year-old Hannah Sempler Hoyt is finally convinced to recount her story to a 'female biographer.' Hannah meets and flirts with pioneer Ethan in 1848; they elope on a spur of the moment. We follow them as they try to create a city in the wilderness, a challenge complicated by the Gold Rush, star-crossed love, danger, and heartbreak. The star "ages" to the tune of 80 years.
