The Killing of a Chinese Bookie
Cosmo Vittelli, the owner of a sleazy, low-rent Hollywood cabaret, has a true affection for those women who strip in his peepshows and the staff who maintain his establishment up. He also features a gaming problem that has gotten him in trouble. He isn't able to cover, when Cosmo loses big-time at an underground casino run by mobster Mort. Cosmo is subsequently offered the chance to pay his debt back by knocking off a Mafia-protected bookie by mort.
