Predicated on Jo Brand's critically acclaimed novel of the exact identical name, The More You Ignore Me is a more humor play focusing on the life span of a royal family in 1980s rural England. The movie focuses on Gina, a new mother, whose efforts to be a loving mother and her falling health undermines wife. Things deteriorate when she develops an obsession with the area weatherman, that contributes to the local clinic. Over time, as she grows upher daughter Alice induces chaos when she comes up with a strategy to reconnect with her, which divides into the household forever and leads to a moving climax, and struggles to relate to her mother that is profoundly treated. Set to the songs of The Smiths, The More You Ignore Me provides a sometimes crude, yet amusing insight into life through this household on the familymembers.
