Joshua Lazarus (Nick Stahl) is a telepath that has been increased at a NSA nurture home. By using his abilities, lazarus helps the government. He's told by the agency which the telepathy has been a negative result of the Illness of Widmann, and that he will become mad and ultimately die from the illness. But, Lazarus matches a girl with similar powers (Taryn Manning) that Doesn't Have any Indication of the illness, starting Lazarus to confront the lies he has been told
