The Straight Story
A farmer and widower in his Alvin Straight finds one afternoon his distant brother Lyle has suffered a stroke and may not recover. Alvin is set to make things right with Lyle while he can, while Alvin has been stuck with no driver's permit and no car at Iowa, however his brother lives in Wisconsin. Then he strikes the concept of creating the trip in his previous lawnmowerand sometimes deeply spiritual odyssey.
