Amazing Grace and Chuck

An anxious 12-year-old boy from Montana named Chuck Murdock sees a Minuteman missile while on a field trip to school. His father is a military jet pilot, and he is the boy's father. His team forfeits a Little League game because he won't play baseball. Smith, a fictional Boston Celtics player played by NBA star Alex English, joins the boy's protest by resigning from professional basketball. Athletes from all over the country see this, which encourages them to join the protest against nuclear weapons. The President of the United States meets with Chuck in person and admires his resolve, but he also explains how difficult it is to get rid of your guns. Amazing Grace and his agent, Lynn, are also in danger from sinister forces.
