Concrete Plans

Five builders are brought together in the distant Welsh mountains to repair a vast old property. Tensions quickly flare between the guys and the self-entitled aristocratic owners, as well as within the ragtag collection of men themselves, since they are housed in moldy portacabins. Dave, the world-weary old timer, and the kind Foreman Bob attempt to maintain order. However, his nephew Steve succumbs to the malevolent influence of bigot Jim, the duo developing an aversion to Viktor, a Ukrainian laborer. As the weather begins to deteriorate and payments fall behind schedule, tempers begin to flare. Blood has been spilled. Jim offers an unexpected idea as the blue-collar guys face an ever-darkening spiral of moral choices.
