Because of his crude demeanor, Professor Pohl does not have the finest reputation at the academic institution in which he works. When the student Naima arrives late for his lecture, he then proceeds to make a racial remark, which only makes matters worse. Unfortunately for him, a video of his verbal outburst goes viral on the Internet, and the university's president, Lambrecht, is called to deal with the situation. However, Pohl is not being disregarded at this time. Instead, he is tasked with assisting Naima in preparing for an important debate competition that she is going to be participating in. Despite the fact that the student and the lecturer couldn't be more dissimilar to one another, they are forced to collaborate on the project together.
