Danton

Robespierre and danton were buddies and fought together at the French Revolution, but Robespierre was the ruler, determined to wipe out opposition with a collection of executions that are mass which became known as the Reign of Terror of France. Danton had been living in comparative solitude from the countryside, however he also came back to Paris to battle Robespierre rule and call for its people to demand their own rights. Robespierre, however, couldn't accept such a challenge, even by a close friend and colleague, and he halted a plan for the capture and execution of his own allies and Danton out.
