El analfabeto

A letter arrives in the mail informing Inocencio Prieto y Calvo that he is the rightful heir to his uncle's two million peso wealth. Because of his reading disability, he has no idea who sent the letter or what it says. Therefore, he decides to visit the pharmacy in hopes that the pharmacist will be able to decipher the letter for him. While he's waiting for assistance, though, he notices a young girl who can read. The boy decides to take the letter with him to class and wait to read it until he gets home, reasoning that he is smart enough to figure out the letter's contents on his own.
