Based on a real story,"House On The Hill" is just really a true crime melodrama with strong horror elements, chronicling the outrageous 1980s murder spree of serial killer Leonard Lake, who would aim, kidnap, rob and kill people - and even families. Sonia, the sole survivor of Lake spree, teams up to help him choose a lady who disappeared into Lake's compound. At the process, Sonia recounts the horrors of the house, where Lake along with his accomplice would force her to videotape the killings.
