Lancelot of the Lake

Following the conclusion of their fruitless search for the Holy Grail, the Knights of the Round Table make their way back to Camelot, where their ranks are drastically diminished. When King Arthur notices that a split is developing between Lancelot and Mordred, he begs his knights to put their disagreements aside and make friends with one another. On the other hand, the fact that Lancelot is carrying on an affair with Guinevere, the king's queen, is kept a secret from the monarch. While Lancelot is caught between his devotion to his king and his love for the queen, Mordred is determined to exploit Lancelot's infidelity as a weapon to bring about Lancelot's downfall.
