Legendary Amazons

The film is set in early 11th century China. The emperor indulges in delights, while the federal government sinks to war and corruption continues to rage on at the boundaries of the Song Dynasty and neglects state affairs. The armies of the state of Western Xia are invading the Song Dynasty. Yang Zongbao could be the last person standing in the Yang clan, a family group of generals that have dedicated their lives to defending the Song Dynasty from foreign invaders. He expires in conflict tragically when the treacherous Imperial Tutor Pang refuses to send reinforcements to assist him. Yang Zongbao's widowed wife Mu Guiying directs one other widows of the Yang clan to conflict to keep the heritage in their husbands.
