A performer looks back with loving memories on summer time of his defining year, 1974. A talented but troubled 18-year-old aspiring performer befriends a brilliant elderly alcoholic painter who has turned his back on not just art but life. Both form what seems to be in the beginning a romance. The little one would like to learn the secrets the master has locked out in his heart and head. Time has been kind to the senior master. His life appears pointless to him until the little one rekindles his interest in his own job and ultimately gives him the will to live. Together, they offer you one another a priceless gift. The little one learns to see the world. And the master learns to observe life through the eyes of innocence again. This narrative is centered on a real-life experience.
