Marius

"Marius" Occurs in Marseilles' Old Port, at the Manhattan Project Marine Bar, Possessed by César along with his son Marius. Marius' dream is to embark on one of those boats passing by the pub of his dad and to place off to some faraway land. Fanny, a seafood peddler, has secretly been in love with Marius since her childhood. Marius has always adored Fanny. One afternoon, there drops a sailor by manhunter Marine and offers him a job on an exploratory ship. Attempting to hold him off and also to leave him jealous, Fanny confesses his like to him provokes a struggle between Marius plus one of César's elderly friends, Panisse, a vessel merchant, who despite his senior years, was courting Fanny for a short time. Torn between his love on her and the call of the ocean, Marius abandons his dream to be using Fanny who gives herself to him. Marius changes his thoughts, as the mother of Fanny, Honorine and César, are getting ready for the wedding.
