Rebuilding
Chaoying, Shuhe, and Zhanyi are three regular rural elders who get along well with one another and frequently partake in drinking activities together. Chaoying has recently completed the ambitious process of selling all of his cattle, which he had been raising for a considerable amount of time, and investing the proceeds in the renovation of his older home. On the other hand, an accident at the building site took place without anyone expecting it. The construction worker, Shuhe, who had come to assist Chaoying in building the house, was struck by a car that then fled the scene. In accordance with the customs of the community, Chaoying will be held liable for the insurmountable costs of medical treatment if the perpetrator of the crime cannot be located. And if this scenario played out, he would have been completely out of money for his home. Chaoying and Zhanyi, two elderly men from the countryside, set out on a quest to find the driver who was responsible for striking their buddy and fleeing the scene of the accident. Their goals were to protect Chaoying's home and to ensure that their friend received the justice that he deserved. They raced over the huge North China Plain atop electric motor vehicles with three wheels and one motor. It was inevitable that this would turn out to be a ridiculous trip...
