Storm Over Asia

A European capitalist fur merchant defrauds a young Mongol herdsman and trapper of a prized fox fur in 1918. He flees to the hills after a battle with the cheating trader. In 1920, he joins the Soviet partisans to battle the occupying British forces. It's not long before the British seize him when the commandant meets with a reincarnated Grand Lama. After the trapper is killed, the army discovers an amulet that links him to Genghis Khan. The army revives him and wants to use him as a puppet dictator. The trapper is now in charge of the phony government. In the end, the "puppet" turns on his masters in a rage.
