Symphony on Skis

A daring ski trip of 2 sisters, that adhere to the tracks of their daddy, across the beautiful landscape of New Zealand. Three decades earlier, Gottlieb Braun-Elwert set out on an un-chartered expedition. He dominated the major glaciers of the Southern Alps as well as crossed 40km and 4000 vertical meters, from the heart of the South Island to the Pacific in simply 18 hours. A course of impressive beauty, immense liberty, spectacular vistas and the threat of the uncontainable nature. He called this path "Symphony on Skis". Now, his daughters Carla, Elke and a tiny team of adventurers embark on the exact same journey. This movie is a tribute to their late papa that located a love and also home in New Zealand's Southern Alps.
