Wealthy sea captain Jim McKay arrives in the expanse of the Pat Terrill. McKay can be a guy whose worth and method of life are a mystery to the ranchers and ranch foreman . Pat is selfish spoiled and controlled Major Henry Terrill, by her wealthy father. The Major is included with a rough hewn clan led by Rufus Hannassey, over watering rights in a war that was ruthless. The land in question is owned by Julie Maragon and both Terrill and Hannassey want it.
