The Black Sleep

In 19th century England, a brain-surgeon enrolls a former student from getting hanged on a certainty for murder, and spirits him off to an re purposed abbey much in the countryside. In addition, he connives his pupil in to assisting him mapping the roles of the various portions of the human brain, together with living areas who are under a terrible animation-suspending medication known as"black sleeping". Subsequently, the student, in addition to the daughter of a few of the subjects, find that the majority of these areas have lived but are being retained at a dungeon-like basement, in many stages of derangement...
