The Catered Affair

The next week, Jane and Ralph are getting married, she says during breakfast. Just a simple, family-only ceremony and no reception are all that Jane and Ralph are looking for. Due to the fact that Ralph and Jane can borrow a car for their honeymoon, Jane's parents couldn't afford it. Ralph's parents, on the other hand, talk nonstop about the lavish weddings they've hosted for their daughters at dinner that night, and things quickly escalate. Suddenly, there are hundreds of people at the wedding breakfast. Tom has been saving money for 12 years to buy his own cab and license, but now that he can, all of his money is going to a wedding that neither he, Jane, or Ralph want.
