The Dreamlife of Angels

Two hopeless young ladies in Lille become friends as they struggle to make ends meet. Isa moves in with Marie, who is looking after a mother and kid who are hospitalized after a car accident and are both in comas. Isa is friendly, unskilled, and eager to go to a warmer climate in the south. Marie is typically either irate or cold. Then, while Isa starts to see the young kid in whose flat they reside and visits the hospital to read to her, Marie gradually develops feelings for a wealthy youth. At first, Marie keeps him at distance, but as she pursues him, she starts to fantasize that he is the love of her life. Isa and Marie's friendship breaks out when she tries to warn her. How is Marie going to manage the unavoidable? Where will they go if they lose their apartment?
