The Girls of Summer

After her 2 more youthful sisters leave home, Maren-- Midwest turf farmer by day, drummer by night-- is laid off to look after her depressed, narcotic-abusing papa. At some point recognizing her distress, Maren's daddy urges she pursue her dreams of becoming an Americana musician. This understanding motivates Maren to sign up with the band of epic country celebrity, Luke Thomas. While on trip with Luke's band, Maren falls for him. Throughout a program, Maren executes a love song she has composed particularly for Luke. His shocking response to her declaration of love sets unforeseeable events into movement. When the desire is larger than you, will you rise to satisfy it? When the past wants to own your future, will you let it? When life sends you in another instructions, will you choose to approve your fate? While remaining true to herself as well as holding her household with each other, Maren must deal with the past in order to progress.
