The Organizer

Prof. Sinigaglia (Marcello Mastroianni) is the main character in an Italian movie about mistreated factory workers in Turin. The movie is dark and funny. People who work at a textile mill don't have anyone to fight for them until Sinigaglia puts his academic career on the line to help them start a strike. Even though the teacher is looked at by people who aren't very sympathetic, he stays true to the workers' cause.
