The Sea Wolves
In this World War II real story, the British military undertakes a top-secret mission to destroy German radio ships in a neutral harbor. British Intelligence officials Col. Lewis Pugh (Gregory Peck) and Capt. Gavin Stewart (Mark Strong) are at the helm of the audacious operation (Roger Moore). The British military headquarters is pushing the scheme, but must conceal any knowledge of it should it fail due to the ships' neutral location. Col. Bill Grice (David Niven), now retired from the military, and some of his former soldiers agree to help Pugh and Stewart. These allegedly inebriated old men in civilian clothes must board three Nazi ships under the guise of a fishing expedition and destroy them, as their radio communications have led to the sinking of ally ships by Nazi submarines. Pugh and Grice conduct the risky raid on and destruction of the Nazi ships while Stewart sets up a diversion on land.
