The Viral Factor

International Security Affairs representative Jon is to escort a scientist that is criminal . En route, the scientist turns out to be considered a traitor and shoots Jon from the mind whilst kidnapping. If Jon wakes up at the hospital, a physician tells him that within weeks, then paralysis will be caused by the bullet from his brain. Jon returns to visit his mum, that confesses that Jon was a brother at Malaysia who has been raised with his dad, a gambler. Jon has a trip to find his brother, Yeung. To the plane he forms a bond with Dr. Kan, that promises to look into possible treatments due to his affliction. When they arrive, Yeung attempts to kidnap the doctor and when Jon intervenes, he's also taken hostage. The two soon realize they are brothers, and opt to work together from reinfecting the entire planet of a disease long thought healed as a way to retain the offenders from the kidnappings.
