The Virgin Spring

Devout Christians Töre and also Märeta ship the virginal Karin their daughter, '' the unrepentant Ingeri, and their foster daughter, to deliver candles to a church. In their way through the forests, girls encounter a set of savage goat herders who rape and murder Karin since Ingeri remains hidden. Töre plots a sin when the killers unknowingly look for refuge from Töre and Märeta's farm house.
