Vatel

Back in 1671, with war brewing with Holland, a penniless prince invites Louis XIV to about 3 days of festivities at a chateau in Chantilly. The prince wishes a commission because an overall, hence the extravagances would be to impress the king. Is the steward, a person of honor, Vatel, talent, and low birth. The prince is craven in his wanting for stature: no task is dishonorable or too menial to him to provide Vatel. While Vatel tries to sustain dignity, he finds himself interested in Anne de Montausier.
