WUSA

A jaded vagabond named Rheinhardt takes a job as an announcer at a right-wing radio station in New Orleans called WUSA. Even though Rheinhardt does not agree with WUSA's reactionary editorial stance, he is prepared to repeat it on the radio and echo it like a robot. Geraldine, a lady friend of Rheinhardt's, and Rainey, a neighbor and disturbed idealist who becomes aware of WUSA's evil, concealed objective, both pose challenges to Rheinhardt's cynical detachment. Rheinhardt finds his cynical detachment to be challenged. Even Rheinhardt finds himself in a position where he needs to take a stance when the events begin to spiral out of control.
