Wuthering Heights

Even the Earnshaws have been Yorkshire farmers through the early 19th Century. 1 afternoon, Mr. Earnshaw yields from a trip to the town, bringing with him a ragged little boy called Heathcliff. Heathcliff becomes company and soul mate into Hindley's sister, although earnshaw's son, Hindley, resents the youngster. After her parents die, Cathy and Heathcliff grow up wild and free and despite the enmity between Hindley and Heathcliff they're happy -- before Cathy meets Edgar Linton, the son of some neighbor.
