Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

American animated series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog based on Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise There were no repeats after the initial airing in 1993. Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Tails are on the run from Dr. Robotnik and his army of robots, trying to take over the planet Mobius. Sonic the Hedgehog was also featured in another show that ran at the same time. A lighthearted tone and whimsical plotlines distinguish Adventures from the other Sonic series, portraying Sonic as skillful and intelligent in contrast to Robotnik and his robot pals Scratch and Grounder.
