Getting Together

Getting is an American situation comedy, which aired throughout the 1971-72 season on the ABC television system. It stars Lionel Poindexter, a duo along with Wes Stern as Bobby Conway along with Bobby Sherman. The pilot to the show had aired the former spring that first season finale episode of The Partridge Family named"A royal prince", by which Lionel and Bobby were introduced into one another by the Partridges. Stern's along with sherman characters were based on the songwriting team of Hart and Boyce, who'd written hits for The Monkees, both Jay and the Americans, along with others. Songs needless to say was a staple of this series, given by a lot of the team that created records and the Partridge Family songs. Most of these songs were from two Bobby Sherman records -- Getting Together and Just For You.
