Ghostbusters

Ghost busters is an animated television show made by Filmation and distributed by Tribune Entertainment and launched following the victory of Ivan Reitman and Columbia Pictures' 1984 film Ghostbusters. It conducted from September 8 to December 5, 1986 and produced 65 events. The cartoon was based from 1975 titled The Ghost Busters. It's never to be mistaken with the series. Columbia Pictures had to obtain the rights from Filmation because of its film to this name, and Filmation went to production using its own animated series based on the personalities from its own series, afterwards ghost-busters was a winner. The show is technically called simply"ghost busters", but home video releases used the name"Filmation's Ghostbusters" in order to prevent confusion. Reruns of the series air on the Retro Television Network, also on Qubo Night Owl. The show can be seen on Hulu.
