Lead Balloon
Balloon is a television series produced by Open Mike Productions for BBC Four. The show was created and can be co-written by comedian Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair. It stars Dee a misanthropic and cynical comedian whose entire life is plagued by petty annoyances, like Rick Spleen, disappointments and embarrassments. Tony Gardner, Sean Power and raquel Cassidy celebrity. The first series of six episodes has been aired on BBC Four in 2006, with the first event achieving the best ratings for a humor on the channel. Repeats of this show were conducted using BBC 2 and BBC H D, bringing it. Another series of eight episodes aired on BBC 2 and a third show started broadcasting in November 2008. A show began broadcast on BBC 2 May 2011 on 31 July and ended on 5.
Critics made comparisons to the prosperous humor Curb Your Enthusiasm, along with comments were made about the characters, the eastern-European housekeeper, particularly Magda of Balloon. The first show has been released on DVD. The show's theme tune is just actually a cover version of"One Way Road", written by Noel Gallagher and conducted with Paul Weller.
