Macross Plus

Macross Plus is a four-episode OVA and theatrical film. It was the first official Macross sequel. Plus combined traditional cel and computer-generated animation, opening the way for more CGI in Japanese animation. The OVA and movie were distributed in Japan by Bandai Visual and in North America and Europe by Manga Entertainment. The Australian VHS version was distributed by Manga Entertainment and the DVD version by Madman Entertainment. It has new mecha inspired by the original series.
