Meteor Garden
Meteor Garden is a 2001 Play starring Barbie Hsu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu. It is based on Western sh?jo manga show, Boys Over Flowers, composed by Yoko Kamio. It led by Cai Yuexun and was produced by Comic Ritz International Production with Angie Chai as producer.
The show was initially broadcast in Taiwan on Chinese Television System that is freetoair April 2001 to 16 August 2001. A supplementary mini series, Meteor Rain was first manufactured in April 2001 and the sequel Meteor Garden II was broadcast from 11 November 2002 to 25 December 2002. The show is the first LiveAction television adaptation of this manga, followed with its sequel Meteor Garden II and Japanese Hana Yori Dango, its sequel Hana Yori Dango Returns along with South Korean Boys .
At the finish of the show, F4 Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu continued to perform and released three studio records as quartet boy band F4. They stopped the usage of this name"F 4" at 2007 in the conscience of Japanese publisher Shueisha, that owns the copyright to Hana Yori Dango, in order to avoid any confusion with the Western and South Korean version of the live-action adaptations of this manga. The group has since been renamed"JVKV", from the very first initial of this quartet in order of age.
