Miracles
Miracles can be an American play television program starring Angus Macfadyen and Skeet Ulrich. Created by Richard Hatem and Michael Petroni, the series has sometimes been dubbed as a"spiritual edition of The X-Files" by its own creators. David Greenwalt, Subsequent to the pilot, co-creator of all Angel functioned since the show's executive producer and head writer for the residual episodes.
Miracles follows Paul Callan, an investigator of modern wonders for the Catholic Church that questions his faith after finding mundane explanations for various supposed phenomena. After he witnesses a real, unnatural miracle that saves his life, only because of his findings to be dismissed onto a lack of evidence, Paul leaves behind the Church and can be approached by Alva Keel to combine his organization Sodalitas Quaerito, investigating and cataloguing"unexplainable" phenomena. Along with former police officer Evelyn Santos, both Paul and Alva make an effort to combat the impending"darkness" before it's too late.
The series premiered as part of ABC's new"Super Monday" line up on January 27, 2003. Six episodes were broadcast on ABC until the show was canceled due to low ratings, having its final broadcast episode drawing only 5.7 million viewers around March 31, 2003. The series has been preempted a range of times during its conduct, once for a rebroadcast of this documentary special Living with Michael Jackson and various times to air newsmagazine cries about the Iraq War. Miracles fans, angered by the cancellation and what they watched because ABC's mismanagement of the Monday 10:00 pm time slot of this show, began a fan campaign to regenerate the series. Fans composed messages on napkins and sent them hoping that the series will be restored by the other networkefforts were ineffective and the series didn't last past its initial arrangement of episodes.
