Princess Agents
Thousands of citizens were enslaved by the Western Wei during the Warring Period. Chu Qiao, a slave girl, is dumped into a wilderness with other slaves and becomes the rich lords' next prey. Yan Xun, Prince of Northern Wei, is the one who saves her. Following that, she is introduced to a strong Yuwen family and sees their brutal power battle. When she notices this, she vows to take her younger sister and flee the situation. However, she attracts Yuwen Yue's attention and is put through rigorous training while forming a bond with Yan Xun. Unfortunately, Western Wei is called to combat, and Yan Xun's family is massacred. Yan Xun becomes ambitious and nasty after that occurrence in order to avenge the things and people he lost. He has reservations about Chu Qiao and takes advantage of her loyalty and love on several occasions, ignoring their relationship as well as the sacrifices he will have to do in order to gain power. Chu Qiao, dissatisfied with the man she previously loved, chooses to fight alongside Yuwen Yue, thwarting Yan Xun's retribution intentions. She eventually persuades Yuwen to free the land from slavery, establishing herself as a popular military strategist/female general.
