Tatau

Tatau follows two friends from London that place off to travel the world, Budgie and Kyle. Kyle understands a Maori-style tattoo to observe their destination: the Cook Islands. Kyle finds out the dead body of a local girl, Aumea, when diving into a lagoon. Kyle finds her corpse has vanished. However, Kyle knows exactly what he saw. Desperate to uncover exactly what happened, Kyle and Budgie find themselves squeezed deeper and deeper into an environment of Maori myths, symbols, and hallucinatory visions... until finally the complete meaning of Kyle's tattoo is revealed.
