The Day Today

The Day Today is a British parody of television current affairs programs, broadcast in 1994, and produced with the comedians Armando Iannucci and Chris Morris. It is an adaptation of the radio programme About the Hour, which was aired on BBC Radio 4 between 1991 and 1992. Was composed by Morris, Iannucci, Steven Wells, David Quantick, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Andrew Glover, and the cast. For The Day Today, the writing group was combined by Peter Baynham, and Herring and Lee were replaced by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. To Day, the cast of About the Hour was kept for The Day. The Day Today is composed of six half-dozen episodes and also a range of shorter slots recorded as promotion trailers to its sections that were longer. The six episodes were originally broadcast from 19 January. The Day Today has won many awards, including Morris. All six episodes are available on BBC DVD, using been issued to VHS.
