Vanished
Vanished is an serial drama tv show produced by 20th Century Fox. The show premiered on August 2 1, 2006 on Fox and its very last episode. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the show begins with the abrupt disappearance of the wife of a Georgia senator, which is quickly shown to be part of a wider conspiracy. This woman's group, a couple of FBI agents, a journalist and also her lover/cameraman, are drawn into an evolving mystery with religious and political undertones. The series was made by CSI writer Josh Berman, and executive produced by Mimi Leder, who's also guided Paul Redford, and the series.
On October 26, 2006, USA Today reported that the show that was planned was ordered to become wrapped up after the 13th episode. The narrative arc of finding Sara Collins was concluded, with the mystery of a conspiracy left dangling in the case. On November 16, 2006, Fox confirmed that the series would end following a last event in December.
On December 8, 2006, the last episode of Vanished appeared online. The manufacturing team was told that a couple of months before the series had been removed from the atmosphere to reveal the fate of Sara but not one of the additional plotlines were resolved.
