Wild City

Singapore is one of the world's fastest-growing cities. Once a tropical jungle, the area is now 665 square kilometers of chaos, concrete, and air conditioning. But there is a wild side buried among the urban sprawl, where pangolins, crocodiles, monkeys, otters, snakes, and hornbills coexist with skyscrapers and boardwalks. This series, hosted by Sir David Attenborough, explores the evolution of nature within this densely populated city. Wild City highlights the variety of habitats found in and around Singapore's urban sprawl, and then travels to the island's hidden wildlife hotspots, from the island's overlooked interior to its inaccessible coastline and islands, which have become unplanned sanctuaries for Singapore's natural heritage.
